Community is important to us at THE CREATIVE KIDS CLUB!
Our friends in the community have many wonderful family events that we would like to share with you. This holiday season, we will once again be participating in these community programs:
HOLIDAY CARDS FOR HEROES
Holiday Mail for Heroes is an American Red Cross program which collects holiday cards between October and early December and distributes them at military installations, veterans hospitals, and in other locations. Last November, we made cards at each of our PLAY TIMES and CRAFT TIMES at the First Friends Child Development Center. Last year, we made over 50 holiday cards that we sent to the American Red Cross for our Heroes. This year, we hope to double this number.
HOLIDAY HANDS TOY DRIVE
Holiday Hands is a United Way of Hunterdon County's program which matches individuals or organizations with a family and/or individual in need during the holidays to ensure they receive items on their wish list or gift cards. Last year, the program helped more than 2,400 people in Hunterdon County. Last year for the second year in a row, THE CREATIVE KIDS CLUB collected new, unwrapped toys and gift cards at our PLAY TIMES and CRAFT TIMES for this program.
